D’Andra Simmons is a Texas native. Born on March 15, 1969, she came out of the womb with a tube of lipstick in her hand and the word “entrepreneur” written on her birth certificate. Her parents had high expectations for D’Andra and so did her peers. Hailing from a self-made family, D’Andra knew she was bound to be successful and was determined to make a difference with her life. Businesswoman, socialite and humanitarian are a few words that are frequently used to describe D’Andra.
In 1987, D’Andra’s mom, Dee Simmons, was diagnosed with breast cancer. D’Andra’s love for her mother sparked a keen interest in nutrition and skincare. She and her mother became avid students of nutrition and alternative medicine. D’Andra went so far as to complete two years of graduate studies in nutrition working towards a degree in Naturopathic Medicine. Her passion for skin care took precedent, so she put her studies on hold and used the knowledge she had gleaned to develop aloe vera-based, botanically-derived products that truly work at an affordable price.
In 2008, after 12 years of working in formulation and new product development for her mothers’ nutritional company, Ultimate Living International, Inc., D’Andra set out to create a unique and effective aloe vera-based skin care line, which led to the creation of Hard Night Good Morning!
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the industry, D’Andra felt confident in her ability to create a line of skin care products that would provide visible anti-aging results. She believes that feeling beautiful, sexy and confident in one’s appearance is achievable at any age and for all genders. Fast forward 10 years and D’Andra remains the sole product developer for her skincare line.
In addition to being the founder and CEO of Hard Night Good Morning, D’Andra is also the CEO and owner of Ultimate Living International. D’Andra acquired her mother’s company in 2018.
